History

The origins of the company date back to the 40's when it offered its services to the Cuauhtémoc Brewery in Tecate B.C.

Fletes Esquer was founded on September 17, 1974 in Tecate, B.C. by Don Federico Esquer Barreto. In early 1997, the first branch was opened in the city of Tijuana, B.C.
At the end of 1997, the corporation opened the company called Multimodal Esquer, Inc. in the city of San Diego, California. A third branch was opened in Ensenada, Baja California in 2016.

Fletes Esquer and Multimodal Esquer are family businesses that have second and third generation members.
